Beth Williams is an illustrator who lives on the edge of the new forest in the UK.
Before starting as a freelance illustrator she worked for ten years in the NHS as a children’s nurse.
Through her work with children she has seen first hand how books, escapism and great art helps children feel happy and learn more about themselves and the world around them.
Her signature style uses bold colours and she loves playing with lighting to create atmosphere and ambience in the images.
A lot of her inspiration is sought from long walks in the forest with her family and bouncy dog Pippin (pictured below), as well as bedtime stories with her daughter.
